Screening
Three-layer screening, explained
· 4 min read
A CV tells you what someone says they've done. It doesn't tell you how they think, how they communicate or whether they can do the work. That's why every candidate we present goes through three layers of screening, then a recruiter review.
Layer 1: AI-assisted CV evaluation
We score each CV against the role's must-haves and nice-to-haves. Unlike keyword matching, the evaluation looks at depth of experience, progression and context, so a candidate who led a migration ranks above one who only lists the tool.
Layer 2: AI interview
Shortlisted candidates complete a recorded, role-specific AI interview. Everyone for the role answers the same questions and is scored on the same rubric, which makes comparisons fair and fast.
Layer 3: Practical assessment
Then candidates do a short piece of real work, such as a coding task, a sales role-play or a spreadsheet test. This is often where the strongest candidates stand out.
The recruiter review
Finally, an experienced recruiter reviews everything, speaks to the candidate and confirms fit, motivation and expectations. AI makes screening faster; people make the call.
