How the AI video interview works
There is no scheduling: candidates record in their own time, and your team watches later.
- Select candidates in the Advanced ATS and choose AI video interview
- Each candidate gets a link by email or WhatsApp, valid for 7 days and extendable
- After consent, the candidate starts; the interview is in English
- The AI interviewer asks each question aloud; the candidate records a video answer
- Answers are transcribed, and the next question or follow-up depends on what was said
- The plan is 6–8 questions, at most 12, with the joining questions last
What you see in the report
The report on the candidate card brings the scores and the recordings together:
A hiring manager can review a candidate in a few minutes by reading the notes and playing only the answers that need a closer look.
- An overall score out of 100, a band and a score per skill
- A summary, job readiness and joining readiness (notice, location, salary, start date)
- A recommendation: proceed, hold or no
- Each recorded answer with its question and a timestamped note
- The full transcript
How the live final interview works
Panel interview scheduling happens inside the Advanced ATS, so there are no separate calendar threads to manage. Video Meetings uses your workspace’s Zoom account, connected once in Settings.
- Select the shortlisted candidates on a requirement
- Choose Live final interview, a start time and a duration from 15 to 180 minutes
- The platform creates one Video Meeting per candidate
- Each candidate receives the invite with the time by email or WhatsApp
- The candidate moves to Interview scheduled at the meeting time
- On the day, the candidate joins from their link after giving consent
What your panel sees before the meeting
The candidate card brings together everything from the earlier steps: the CV screen, test scores, graded assessment answers, AI interview reports, recordings and joining readiness.
Your panel can read it in a few minutes and spend the final round interview on what only people can judge: depth, fit with the team and the offer conversation.
Where it fits in the AI Hiring Suite
The AI video interview comes just before the live final interview, and both are part of AI Final Video Interview. It helps when presentation matters, or when several people need to see the same evidence before agreeing a shortlist.
Use it instead of the AI voice interview or after it, for example voice as the first filter and video for the last few candidates. Any combination of the AI Hiring Suite products works.
Credits and cost
AI Final Video Interview is ₹799 per user a month, or ₹7,670 a year with annual billing (20% off), and it is part of the AI Hiring Suite. Each AI video interview uses 8 credits, charged when the link is sent: about ₹13–16 before GST on the credit packs. Cancel a link the candidate never opened and the credits are refunded. The live final interview uses none.
The 15-day free trial comes with 90 credits, so you can run AI video interviews (8 credits each) on your own candidates before the first charge.
Fairness, consent and human control
Candidates see how the interview works and agree to the recording before it starts. Questions come from the same JD for everyone on the role, and every score sits beside the recording it came from.
Nothing is rejected automatically. Judge the content of an answer rather than the room, the camera or the accent; the recommendation is advice, and your team makes the call.
When to use a recorded video interview
Use it when you want to see how a candidate explains and presents before you meet them:
- Sales and business development: a short pitch and a price objection
- Customer support leads: how they calm an upset customer
- Software developers: explaining a project or a design choice
- Accountants: walking through a process they own
- Operations and team leads: how they run a shift or a team
